Booking, transfer and cancellation policy

A place on one two-hour session, either online or in person at Africon AI Training and Innovation Center, East Legon. Sessions run from 6 October to 24 December 2026.

Included with every booking: our Introduction to AI session, free; a course playbook; a certificate of participation in the name you enter on the booking form; and the recording of your session.

Promotional prices apply to payments that complete on or before 30 September 2026. From 1 October the standard price applies, whatever date your session falls on.

What matters is when your payment finishes, not when you started it. If you begin a payment before the cutoff and it completes after, we will hold your money, take no place, and email you a link to choose: pay the difference and keep your place, or take a full refund. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours we refund you in full, automatically. We will never take the difference from your account without you asking us to.

All prices are in Ghana cedis (GHS). If your card is issued elsewhere, your bank converts at their own rate.

We do not hold places for unpaid bookings. Your seat is allocated the moment your payment is verified, and not before.

Very occasionally two people pay for the last place at the same moment. If that happens to you, we refund you in full without being asked, tell you so, and show you the other dates.

You can move to another date, or another course, free of charge up to 48 hours before your session, subject to a place being available. Email or call us and we will move it.

Inside 48 hours a move is at our discretion. Ask us anyway: the place has been counted for materials and catering by then, so we cannot promise it, but we would rather move you than have you miss the session. If we cannot, see If you cannot attend below.

You can pass your booking to a colleague at any time, at no cost. Tell us the new name before the session so their certificate is correct.

Online to in person: you pay the difference between the two prices, at the prices your original booking was made at.

In person to online, by your choice: your place moves and the difference is not refunded. The room seat and materials were committed when you booked.

In person to online, because we moved the session: we refund the difference in full. If too few people book a room for a session to run there, we move it online at the same day and time and tell everybody affected. You did not choose that, so you do not pay for it. If online does not suit you, we will move you to another in-person date free of charge or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.

Cancel more than seven days before your session and we refund you in full. Inside seven days we cannot refund, because the place is no longer sellable, but you can still move to any future date free of charge up to 48 hours before.

If we cancel a session for any reason, you get a full refund or another date, whichever you prefer. Refunds are returned to the account you paid from and usually arrive within a few working days, depending on your bank or mobile money provider.

If you miss a session you booked, you can take the same course again on a later date, free of charge, once. Ask us and we will book it. Your original booking stays on record as it was.

If the session you missed was the last date for that course in this run, tell us and we will sort something out with you.

A multi-week course is one payment that lets you choose that many sessions. Buying it does not reserve dates: you pick each session afterwards, and your place is taken at the moment you pick it.

Each of the nine courses can be chosen once, and you can take more than one in the same week. Sessions must be used by 24 December 2026. Sessions not used by then are not refundable.

The number of sessions you take in the room is set when you pay. Taking more in the room than you paid for is a change of format, covered above.

Every paid booking includes the recording of that session. It becomes available once the edited recording is released after your session has run, and stays available for thirty days from the day it is released. After that it expires.

A certificate is issued for sessions you attended. We do not issue certificates for sessions marked as not attended.

Sessions run from 6 October to 24 December 2026. In-person teaching ends on Thursday 17 December, when the training centre closes.

The sessions on 22, 23 and 24 December are online only. There are no sessions between 25 December and the January restart, and the January timetable is confirmed separately in December.

We use your name, email and phone number to run your booking and to send you your joining details, reminders and certificate. Your name appears on your certificate exactly as you type it on the booking form.

The AIKASA mailing list is separate and optional. Ticking or unticking it makes no difference to your booking, your recording or your certificate, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
